Highly Entertaining...

One thing we LOVE about Nora is how entertaining she is! Who needs tv now? Aaron can play with her for hours...making her say things and make funny faces. Ahh, the enjoyments of parenthood. =)

Here are a few videos...enjoy!

I Love Being a Mommy!

Sunday was my first Mother's Day as a mother...it was FABULOUS! Aaron did a wonderful job of showing his (and Nora's) love for me as a mother! I got a sweet card, some money to buy a necklace I really want =), and a corsage to wear to church. Aaron and Buck, my sister's husband, got together and cooked us (Niki and I) dinner for Mother's Day too! Yum! It was steak, lobster, green beans, mashed potatoes, and rolls. They worked hard and we loved it! We finished off the night by taking desert over to my mom's (and grandma's). Niki made homemade chocolate ice cream and I made a triple chocolate cake. Boy did it all go fast!

What a Blessing!

We love Nora! Did you know that?? =)

On Sunday, May 2nd (her 1 month birthday!) she was given a name and blessing by Aaron. It was such a neat experience. I am very thankful for Aaron and the priesthood he holds to do so. I cried the whole time. (Big surprise!) It was so special to feel Heavenly Father's love for this little girl and how we, as her family, will help her become the woman she needs to be. After it was over, Aaron asked me what part made me cry...my response: the whole thing! That was my little girl up there! She is so special and such a blessing to us! WE LOVE HER!

We were fortunate to have lots of family come in town for it! Everyone knew it was a special time. To make it even more special, Nora's cousin Millie got blessed the day before. We made a fabulous weekend out of it with lots of visiting, baby holding, and EATING! These 2 girls are so loved by so many people! They have LOTS of excited grandparents and we love and appreciate ever minute it!! There's nothing better!

The girls looked so sweet in their dresses my mom made them. She worked long and hard on them and everyone was very impressed. =) Thanks Mom, you do a GREAT job!
