We had a GREAT 2nd week at the beach, (of course!) We had some special visitors (friends of The Browns & family of The Deavers) part of the week and loved it! We really missed Aaron, but were glad to have lots going on to make it less miserable without him. (Side note: Trips are so much easier thanks to the great invention of FaceTime.)
Nora's newest BFF, Baby Clark, turned 6 months old this week. Isn't he the cutest?
The kids loved the slip 'n slide Rara brought to the beach. Even though it wasn't so easy to slide on. Even with dishsoap. I love these pictures...especially the ones that show Nora always getting a push. The video below shows the perfectly how slippery the slide truly was.
Nora loved meeting a new friend. They were pretty close in age & it was too cute when they 'played checkers' together at the beach.

We made a special trip to Sweet Berries (after the weekly beach run). Minus the fact that this was after Nora's worst temper tantrum to date (in public, no less), we enjoyed it!
The week finished off with a special event to delight and entertain us. The 3 little girls (Lily, Suzy, & Ruby) worked hard on their 'show' for at least a week. They prepared by shopping for the refreshments, making fake money, setting/running the concessions stand, setting up games for the 'after party', and advertising the grand event with signs around the house. Feeling brave? Have some extra time? Need a smile? The performances are all filmed and the links are below.

Other highlights from the week:
Playing games on & off the beach
Sharing favorite things (even Lucy's beloved mimi)
Giving your aunts pedicures with a watering can
Tutu with a few of her favorites
Swimming with Tutu
Smartest idea of the trip...becoming confident at using the potty while at the beach. Nora loved it and became very quick at stripping down and potty-ing. You don't have to worry about any mess with accidents or major clean up...it's great!
Snorkeling Ruby
The captain of this boat was snorkeling and got sick. He managed to make it to shore but not much else. We found him laying on the sand with one of the boat's passengers. They found him some water and let him rest until he was feeling better. We never knew what exactly was wrong but he was really weak and dizzy. Riley was a great sport and agreed to paddle him (a man at least twice his size) back to his boat.
This. Is. The. Life.
A new Olympic sport?
Proof of how perfect these two little ones are...beach nappers
And to end this post with a bang, a toddler giant riding in a Barbie van. =)
